Death location - Julia Lennon (15th July 1958)

Julia walked from Mendips to the bus stop (as she had done many times before) when she was struck by a car. She died aged 44 in the back of an ambulance on the way to the hospital.

Menlove Avenue has two separate lanes and in 1958 there were hedges partially obscuring them. Julie has gone to the bottom of Vale Road and crossed one lane and was struck on the other. A bus stop is still there and here're some photos.
