Jess Yates (20^th December 1918 to 9^th April 1993)

Jess was a television presenter for twenty years, appearing on Come Dancing, The Good Old Days and hosting Miss World competitions (he lived in Llandudno when he was a kid and it must have got under his skin.)

His glittering television career ended when the newspapers found out he was having an affair with young actress. The television presenter Paula Yates thought Jess was her dad but DNA showed it was another television presenter Hughie Green.

He died of a stroke in Llandudno aged 74.
