Steaming Through The Valley

Sometimes I go to feed horses in this field (they like apples and Cheesy Quavers). Even when they’ve eaten them they keep head-butting me wanting more and more.

Often a steam train will pass through the valley while I’m there. With smoke belching and many tons of metal shooting along the tracks it quite a dramatic scene - well worth painting. So here 's the scene (in Todmorden) in oil paint.
