Trouble In The Trenches

Whenever I go running through Todmorden Centre Vale Park I always stop, pull out my ear plugs and salute the statue of the war memorial. Engraved across the long lofty stone walls are the names of all the soldiers from the town who died fighting in the two World Wars. It states “Your Names Will Live For Evermore” I don’t know them but I knew what they did for us.
