Two Drunks In The Road

Years ago I went down Manchester Centre to watch the Chinese New Year celebrations. Later on I was walking up a quiet side street to the car. Suddenly two men hobbled out of a pub doorway and attempted to walk down the street. They were well watered down and couldn’t walk in a straight line. One was holding himself up against a wall and the other just fell into the street. He tried to get up but gave up and decided to stay there.

I noticed a young girl with a dog watching them. By the expression on her face she hadn’t been exposed to seriously drunk people and was mildly horrified.
